Indiana Jones or Back to the Future?
In my mind, these two trilogies are some all-time American classics. Both are on my list of 'must-sees', but, if you had to choose, which would come out on top?
The Indiana Jones movies boast hidden treasure, booby traps, and some great villains (Nazis in 2 of 3). Back to the Future has fun toys,a great soundtrack, and the bullies everyone loves to hate. Both movies are emplars of great American storytelling, but which do you prefer? and why?

Back to the future is spoiled by BTTF 3, where as Indiana Jones is enhanced by his third movie, with dear ole dad. SO I Vote Indiana Jones all the way.
Here I gotta say that the initial post was Brian's, not mine. So, now I can answer the question. Yay.
I guess by default my vote goes for Indiana Jones. I haven't seen any of the Back to the Future movies, for which I am constantly harrassed. The Indiana Jones series, however, I know to be excellent. For my introduction to it, I must thank my friend the other Dr. Jones. |
